- Great! And now let's bring dads into the equation, and single parents and same-sex couples. This article gives the impression that dads don't exist. That is VERY discriminatory vis-a-vis men. And why settle for a few weeks or months of parental leave when many countries successfully ...fund a year and more? Babies de...serve to be with at least one of their parents for their first year, in my view. All studies show that it is even better for kids and society when moms and dads have the opportunity to share the parental leave!, Benja
